I know Russell laid in the hospital and suffered the pain of death. He knew he was dying; with no one but God by his side. How many young people have been in the same place Russell was? The horror of AIDS and the sinful nature derived from it; is all too real.
I try to put in perspective; all the events Russell had to go through. The way he had to suffer because of Kevin; and his lies and manipulation. Before Russell went into a coma; he had asked for a religious person. From what I gathered from Kevin’s deposition; he would love to have kept this from happening.
Considering all the horrible things Kevin had to say about me (Russell’s mother); I believe he was consumed of the devil. How could anyone do the things he did? It seems to me there is so much of this out there; lies and manipulation by those in the homosexual community. How Kevin could keep us from burying our son; is beyond all moral decency.
I try not to think about the pain Russell suffered; not only physically, but mentally. God knows all about everything that happened; he will judge!
Russell was so tenderhearted and kind. He would never hurt anyone intentionally; especially his family. Russell was always manipulated by Kevin. This is what happens to so many of our young people; they listen to Satan and his lies. Kevin took Russell to Baltimore after he graduated from college; to alienate him from his parents. He knew we were having too much influence on him. I believe Russell would have turned his life around if he had stayed in Tennessee.
I have talked to so many parents who have gone through a lot of the same thing we have. The one who manipulates usually gets the other to leave and go to another state; where they can’t have any Christian influence on them. There is so much pain out there because of the homosexual lifestyle. I pray every day for the parents who are hurting like we are; for their lost children. There is such a pain in my heart for losing Russell; and the way he died. I don’t want anyone to suffer this kind of pain.

I hope this verse may be a witness to the lost; what our precious Lord wants for them.
